Hi! I recently got a Samsung Smart TV UE55NU7305 and downloaded plex.
The issue that I have is that plex isn’t updating my library, I can turn off the app, restart the tv and so on but nothing helps but updating it manually from a browser on my computer.
Is there a setting that I have missed or something? Right now I use the synology app to get to my library instead which is annoying.
I know. I think you missunderstood me. I can reach my nas via plex. What I am saying is that plex on my tv won’t update the library automaticly, for example if I add an episode to my nas and I want to see it on my tv, it does not find it without me updating plex through a browser, it’s not enough with just plex on the tv.
I have put everything in order and it finds shows and movies. But if I add another episode of a tvshow, the tv will only find the old ones unless I start plex on my browser first, and then open it on the TV. My question was if there is a “sync option” on the plex tv app that I have missed.
I see now that I didn’t explain it fully in my first post. I apologise, english is not my first language and sometimes things get lost in translation.
