I screwed up, I am having problems with some programs on my Main Computer which has my PLEX Server running. I tried to install the PLEX Server on my Synology NAS where all my Videos are stored any way and that is where things went south. I could not get either Samsung TV to connect to the Synology PLEX Server. I removed that server and restarted the server on my main computer and now I can’t get my old Samsung to connect, it says server not available. I removed the PLEX media app and reinstalled it shutting the TV off between the removal and re-install, Server still not available. I went to my new TV and it connects, but says there are no programs or words to that effect to view. Plex Player on my Main Computer has no problem playing the Videos stored in the the server. What do I have to do to get PLEX to work on at least my New TV? Both TVs show up in the Authorized devices, I had removed both and re-linked them and they still behave the same. I am lost, please help me sort this out. I really would like it to work from the NAS, but I don’t believe I could move my indexed movies and programs over with out having to re-set up and scan the library’s. I really don’t want to have to do that unless it is the only thing available. I had no issue running from the main computer as it is on line 24/7/365 for my weather station. It just started acting up in the last few days and we could not watch our evening movies.
