I have 15 Libraries on my Plex Server which are local storage and I have plex set to scan when a new item appears in the local storage. One of my libraries is cloud based so Plex cannot tell when a new item is added. The only way I can find around this is to scan all libraries every hour which is a lot of disks being unneccasarily spun up and scanned. Is there a better way of doing this? I cannot find a way to set library scanning to specific libraries (which I find surprising)

Plex will not be able to detect individual items added to a remote mount because Networking protocols do not support such notification.
Windows emulates it by polling frequently.

I am aware of that which is why I am looking for a workaround to force Plex to scan just the cloud library instead of all the local libraries. A Library specific setting instead of all libraries,
