I use the HiFiCast app on my Android phone to play music from my home server running Plex (on Debian), with my TV soundbar as a renderer.
Browsing and playback work fine in this environment, but if I try to use keyword search for tracks (e.g. search for a track name, artist, or album name) I get the error “this server does not support search”
I have looked through the DLNA log on Plex and I can’t see where the search request from HiFiCast comes in, and what error response is being returned.
Is this expected to work? I can’t find any references to search indexing in the Plex DLNA server docs.
If it ought to work. Is there a way I can collect some debug info?
