I have been runing plex for years comfortably on 180GB partition (C drive) but have noticed over the last y8 months my Media folder growing out of control that has prompted to increase my C drive volume; which is now 380GB, my Media folder now sits at 303.9GB, my Databases are 10.1GB. So what has changed in Plex that its no longer managable?
Oh my cache folder was at 13.1GB, which makes me wonder why does Plex need that much cache as well? ![]()
My plex runs on Windows 2022 Server with 12 E5-4650 v4’s and 16GB of RAM, it has a Quadro P2000, and a 10GbE LAN connection. It actually runs on top of my ESXi 7 Dell R830. I am going to increase the drive space a bit more but I am hoping there is a solution to this running away space issue in the Media folder located in c:\users{my.user}\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Media
Thanks,
