For several months, anytime I open the Plex Media Player app from my Windows 10 PC, it automatically starts in diag mode. I have to hit Ctrl+Shift+D to remove the diag overlay.
Ive uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. Ive removed all Plex reg keys and folders from Program Files and AppData/Local. Im admin and UAC is off. Ive also tried running the .exe directly, as admin and from a toolbar shortcut - no difference.
I briefly dug into logs and config files but nothing sticks out as an obvious setting or preference.
Its just annoying. For a while Ive just gotten used to disabling it the few times I use the software. It doesnt appear to be an option using the browser. I havent been able to find anything about it searching through forums other than how to enable/disable the overlay.
Thought Id post a question before I start testing new user profiles and dumpster diving.
I doubt its an OS or hardware related issue but just in case.
