Plex media player (and some other apps) turn off the display on my LG C1

I got a LG C1 and ran into an issue but it coincided with a complete hardware change on my HTPC so I chalked it up to a Windows problem and reinstalled windows.

So before the reinstall I would open the plex media player app (from the Windows store) and the app will turn off the display on the tv. It will flicker on for a second or two when I move the mouse but then turn off again. If I close the program Windows displays normally.

So as of last night Im on a fresh install of Win10, fresh install of Plex server, fresh install of Plex media player, and Plex HTPC.

Both the media player and new HTPC still cause my screen to turn off. I recorded my TV to show what I mean as well

I have noticed that Plex is not alone in causing this. Sometimes random prompts from Windows will cause the same thing. I am completely lost on what to try.

It’s caused by Gsync. Don’t need it on as I rarely play games on it but finally got it.
