Plex Media Player (for Home Theater PCs) HDR support

I know the Plex Media Player (for Home Theater PCs) is the red headed step child that the Plex Gods would like to smote but there are some of us that really like using it. If would be nice if it actually received some love and a possible update. My setup is a Windows 10 pc as a server and player. I’m directly hooked up from the Plex Home Theater PC (Windows 10 with nVidia Geforce GTX 1650 with 4GB RAM) to a Marantz SR6014 which can decode all the audio formats that are thrown at it but when it comes to HDR, it’s a big fat NO! The only way I can see the picture of my 4K HDR videos in all their glory is to use a Chromecast with Google TV. Please please please show a little love to the Home Theater player. Of course if I’m doing something wrong, let me know.

Edit: When using KODI the HDR works fine.

No more love for PMP Home Theater PCs I guess.

It is very unfortunate to be honest, I have a similar setup and I am using a NUC with an intel 6000 as my pmp device. Let me ask you this question, does your video occasional pause for a split second in what seems like a duplicate frame? Ive been trying to get answers for this for some time and cant seem to find anyone with a solution or even the same problem. To be clear it is not a buffering issue, it is still playing the movie, the video just pauses for a split second randomly. I wish they would give HTPCs some love with plex because it is honestly an excellent product
