Hey there’s been a bug for several months where after I restart Windows 10, Plex won’t respond with either remote or KB, not until I alt-tab. It works fine if simply exiting then restarting Plex. It only happens after a Windows restart. It also always works if hitting alt-tab. I’m running the latest version, but like I said, this has been happening for quite a while.

Also, telling plex to always be on top or force full screen doesn’t help.

Anyhow I’d prefer to use the remote and not fuss with alt-tabbing if I don’t have to.

try delaying the PMP statup by 15 seconds or so via a batch file, so it doesnt loose focus to other apps that might start up after it

The only reason I restart the system is because windows loses my AVR sometimes. However, last night I created a custom EDID that should solve that problem. I’ll bet I can figure out a batch file for the focus problem if I can install an unsigned driver! Thanks for the input!

been there, done that. likely wont fix anything. the 100% solution is a hardware device, dr hdmi, hdmi detective etc

So, I went a slightly different route…I tried a task scheduler plex activity that waited one minute and that didn’t do the trick. I ended up creating an “alt-tab” button on my harmony remote. That seems to have done the trick.
