Title says it all just wondering if anyone knows if Plex plans to roll-out the new PMP UI to other platforms like Android TV etc?
P.S I use the Shield and would love to have this interface

That’s what it says in the announcement.

If they do, I hope they change the way you navigate libraries because it’s really a step backward with respect to the previous version ![]()
I just launched plex on an AmazonFireTV and it’s a bit different
I like bits, I’m so very happy that it’s no longer a touch optimised UI on a non touch device. I saw my “On deck” and thought it was my birthday
I agree with zpaolo11x on the libraries (possibly). Movies seems to work ok, but if I look in my misc library, which includes various videos from different sources the view is fixed on those huge icons, so all I see for the titles are things like:
Unity Procedural…
Javascript for…
How you can…
The Post…
Later I might watch “The Principles o…” which sounds fascinating.
I think it was pretty awful in the previous version anyway, which is why I don’t use Plex for those types of videos really.
I am extremely happy to have my on deck flattened and put back on the front screen though. The previous version annoyed me so much. Such a big UI change does make me wonder if they should be investing in making it skinable though. Cobble together a workable html/xaml alike and let the community do all the heavy lifting. Make sure the default in house skins are good though.
