Anyone on here experiencing a crash when Plex Media Player on the latest version is opened? I saw a bit of discussion about this on Reddit where a few others mentioned the problem.
I’m not seeing any issues in my testing, we’re going to need more information to investigate further.

I’m also seeing this issue, just started today. Below is the windows application event recorded and I’ve attached the Plex log. I can load the PMP only by running as administrator.PlexMediaPlayer.log (40 KB)

Just rebooted and now works, very odd…
I pm’ed my logs to markus101. I was using in desktop mode.
Still not working on my end, despite uninstall/reinstall cycle.
Do you see issues in TV mode as well? I’ve been unable to reproduce the issue in either mode and the logs/event log don’t show much. QT hasn’t been updated recently either.
We will have a new desktop version in the next release as well.
I just got the exact same crash on the July 23 build. The only thing that works for me as well is running as admin. Crashes without running as admin in both TV and desktop mode.
