<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>
I have an Imac (Retina 4k, 21.5 inch Late 2015)
3.3Hgz quad core intel corei7
16 gb 1876 MHzz ddr3
Intel Iris pro
My server worked well with the previous version after I updated it the server icon appeared in the Dock but instantly disappeared. I am not a technical person so I am unsure how to get to logs and such.
Any advice would be appreciated.
FYI: I search the topics and could not find anything relating to this.
I tried rolling it back to PlexMediaServer-1.40.4.8679-424562606-universal and it still did the same.
I also tried to get to my server logs and this is what came back in terminal

If the Plex Media Server‘s menu bar icon just vanishes on startup(not getting to the stage where it’ll be writing to the server logs), you can attempt the following procedure to see if there’s any error messages on the OS level:
Open Finder and navigate to /Applications
Select Show Content from the context menu of the Plex Media Server.app item
Navigate to Contents/MacOS
Open the Terminal app
Drag the Plex Media Server executable from the Finder window (#3) into the Terminal Window and press Return to execute it
This is no different from running the app, so it won’t succeed – but you should get a more specific error message about what’s causing it to fail starting.
Thank you tom80H
it returned this
