Hi, I’m having very annoying issues with Plex Media Server crashing every 1-1.5 days without break for a few months now. I’ve tried to do Google troubleshooting and nothing has seemed to help. I haven’t reinstalled the server yet as I don’t want to go through the trouble of re-setting everything back up.
What happens is: I sit down to watch something on Plex and noticed on my TV that all my media has disappeared or poster art has been greyed out. When I get to my computer 1 of 2 issues come up; either Plex crashed so hard the icon is no longer on my task bar and I have to start the server back up OR the icon is on my task bar and when I right click on it, all options are greyed out and there is no text. At that point, I have to right click, click the bottom greyed out option (exit) and start the server back up.
This whole issue has me a bit annoyed and I’m not very certain how to troubleshoot in the logs I have saved. Thank you in advanced for the help!
But I had a quick look and can’t spot anything obvious myself, you said it was crashing nearly daily - I can see in the plex crash uploader it tried and failed to upload on May 4 23:29
So I would recommend you upload the .dmp here also
Hopefully someone from Plex support can then assist you …
I’m having similar challenges lately for the last few months. The server will crash randomly as well. Same issues raised by OP. Is there a stable version I should go back to? Been a user for many years now and never seen frequent crashes till the last 6 months i feel.
My current Server/OS Details:
Plex Media Server v1.32.2.7002-86cfcc10c
Windows version: 10.0 (Build 19045)
The errors that I can see in some of the logs is the following (not in the same sequence):

[7688] WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#15] HTTP error requesting GET http://192.168.1.XX:1990//WFADevice.xml (1, Unsupported protocol) (Received HTTP/0.9 when not allowed)
[7688] WARN - [HttpClient/HCl#16] HTTP error requesting GET http://192.168.1.XX:8200/rootDesc.xml (56, Failure when receiving data from the peer) (Recv failure: Connection was reset)
