My Plex server is crashing and I don’t know how to troubleshoot why. I know it’s stopped because I’ll log in via a client and my server doesn’t show up. It doesn’t appear to be any particular time of day or access pattern, but without knowing how to troubleshoot it, I could be wrong. Since this is running on Windows, it’s not a service and has no way of auto re-starting. I know there are workarounds/hacks to make it a service, but I’m not trying to create a larger management nightmare for myself. I’d really like to be able to isolate why the crashes are occurring.
