Plex Media Server Gets Stuck When Updating Libraries

Server Version#: 4.69.1 (server runs on a Macbook Pro)

My plex server gets stuck when updating libraries (on a different file everytime) and then no one is able to play anything and if I try to quit the server on my mac it says application not responding so i have to force quit it. I need help with this please as I can’t use Plex at all currently to watch anything. I have also attached the logs. Plex Media Server Logs_2021-11-04_11-16-25.zip (4.0 MB)

Not an expert when it comes to looking at the logs but a couple of questions.

1. Are you just updating the library for new media or are you updating the agent for the library?
2. How big are the libraries that you are trying to update?
3. Are you using GDrive as your storage location? (looks like it based on what I saw in the logs)
4. Did this issue just recently start happening or have you always had issues updating your libraries?
5. If yes to 3, how did you create your mount?

I’m not really familiar with mounting GDrive as a local storage volume but I know depending on how it is mounted and certain options it can make it run slow and potentially cause issues. Also, depending on what is going on, the fact that Plex might be also be trying to read the media files to get information from them could cause slowdowns.

Hopefully answer the questions I posed will motivate someone that is familiar with GDrive (if that is what you are using) to chime in and give some help.

1. It’s when the library is updating once daily
2. My Gdrive library is 25 TB and my local NAS library is 20 TB
3. I’m using Gdrive as a storage location for some shows and local for others
4. It has just recently started happening
5. Gdrive is mounted using an app on Mac called Netdrive

I would really appreciate any help as plex barely works for me still. Thank you so much
