Plex media server metadata Nvidia Shield

Server Version#:Latest
Player Version#:Latest

Hadn’t ever used the shield for this purpose before.

Created the server, added the files from attached local drives, wouldn’t download all the posters/data, added more files, didn’t add the meta data. Tried rescanning, re adding and redownload metadata.

Then my hard drives kept stopping, so I presumed it was the drives going to sleep, I then plugged them into my router and set the shield to access them, it worked and started to scan files, adding most of the meta data,

I read that the space in shield was limited, so I plugged in a fast USB pen drive, remade server, transferred to pen drive, set folders and the download of meta data started, again didn’t download all.

I then purchased an external hdd to use as the server, plugged into shield, it stays on and works, but again the meta data for most of my files just doesn’t appear, I tried all the suggestions I’ve read including deleting the meta data on drive, turning off channels and ipv6.

I’m now re adding the lot over night, I can access the files, just would like the meta data.

All the files have been renamed by filebot using the script for plex data, I just don’t know what else to do, cheers.

What do your libraries look like in Plex Web? Can you post screenshots in this thread?

If you’ve named your media correctly, the scanners should be working and grabbing metadata for your shows or movies.
