Suddenly my server will no longer open on my macbook. It will pretend to open, ask me to move it to applications, then open with a very quick blip of the icon in the upper menu bar. Then doesn’t appear to ever actually open. I’ve deleted, reinstalled, restarted, a few times now, but nothing has worked. It doesn’t open after restarting my computer like it used to either. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated
Server Version#: It was the current server
Player Version#: macOS Monterey 12.7.4

I’m having the exact same problem. 2014 macmini running Monterey 12.7.5. Reinstalled latest Plex Media Server, a quick blip in the upper menu bar, and then gone. Won’t work. Tried to reinstall multiple times.
If the Plex Media Server won’t start and doesn’t even get to the stage where it’ll be writing to the server logs, you can attempt the following procedure to see if there’s any error messages on the OS level:
Open Finder and navigate to /Applications
Select Show Content from the context menu of the Plex Media Server.app item
Navigate to Contents/MacOS
Open the Terminal app
Drag the Plex Media Server executable from the Finder window (#3) into the Terminal Window and press Return to execute it
This is no different from running the app, so it won’t succeed – but you should get a more specific error message about what’s causing it to fail starting.
