I’m at work and using the windows plexamp app to play music, but when I go to app.plex.tv, my server isn’t showing up and I can’t access anything. I tried to log out and log back in. I tried to remove access for the web browser and tried to log in again, but still no server. Yet on the same computer, I’m able to play all my music using the plexamp. My plex app on my iPhone also isn’t showing my server, but plexamp on my iPhone lets me play my music. Any Ideas?
You are logging into a different account on your computer. This seems unlikely, as you say you are able to revoke access to the device (web browser) and re-log in, which tells me you are logging into the correct account. Next thing I’d look at, is whether you are using managed users (also unlikely, as the default admin account would have all access).
A newbie move, but perhaps the libraries are simply unpinned from the left-hand bar? If so, you’d be able to see them if you click on More > at the bottom to see if your server is even detected by the account. I feel this is also unlikely, but worth a look.
There must have been an update on my works system or something? Because doing nothing more than logging in today, with the same user/pass, I’m able to see my server and my libraries.
