'Plex Movie' agent not available for 'Other Videos' library type

Previously I had documentaries in my ‘Movies’ library. I decided to move them to a separate ‘Documentaries’ library. forgive me, I’ll try to keep it short and still make sense.

some of these documentaries are multiple parts/files (similar to a season - E1, E2, E3, etc.) If I select ‘Movies’ as the library type, the single files show, but these ‘season’ files don’t. . .if I select the ‘TV Shows’ type, the ‘season’ files will show, but the single ones wont.

The only library type that will detect all the files is ‘Other Videos’, but if I pick ‘Other Videos’, the ‘Plex Movie’ agent isn’t available to scan the files.

You basically already described why that is.
Other videos are usually used for personal media or by users who store their entire metadata already in the files and don’t want Plex to download any metadata online.

As for documentations – the more common approach would be to have 1 documentation library for movies (individual documentations) and 1 documentation library for tv-shows (episodic content).
