Plex Music Album "posters" modified to have the same face on numerous albums

Server Version#: 1.20.0.3133
Player Version#: Plexamp 3.1.1 / web interface

So I just upgraded to 1.20.0.3133 and am actually paying attention to ID3 tags/album covers flowing through PlexAmp and I’ve noticed this face on a LOT of albums. The original album art is still there, but it selects the modified as the default. Is someone having fun with some 3rd party Id3/tag database or is my wife, the only other person using our Plex Server, messing with me?

At the worst, just laugh at me having at least 100 albums changed like this, but if anyone knows what’s up I’d appreciate being clued into the joke. TIA

does refresh metadata fix it without going and manually selecting a poster?

I attempted a full refresh last night before bed, 6000+ albums so I figured I’d give it time. I still get the thin fluffy looking guy on dozens to hundreds of albums.

Somebody must be tainting the database where Plex draws their cover images from or something. Haven’t added or refreshed any of my music, nor have I updated to the latest version of Plex yet, so I haven’t personally seen this. I think I might wait to add or fix anything in my collection until this finds a resolution first… :upside_down_face:

Small update. Cleaned up ~350 albums out of 6240. Mostly R&B, Rap, and Country over the weekend. I load up Plexamp at work today and I get this. I check and I think there are MORE albums edited as many that I fixed are still fixed. Maybe I should just admit defeat and leave visualizations turned on and ignore the Gabriel Iglesias looking dude Capture
