Plex Music metadata is in wrong language

Hi,

I have an issue with Plex Music library scanner/agent - it sets artist name in the wrong language, even though manual matcher shows the correct language. After selecting the entry in the correct language, it seems to be loading something, but the metadata gets saved in the wrong language. I have tried this with clean library and even clean Plex Server instance and this issue still occurs.

In summary:
0. New library is created with language set to Japanese and scanner/agent set to Plex Music.

  3. Resulting artist name is “Hiroyuki Sawano”. I expect it to be 澤野弘之.

I have checked the artist entry in MusicBrainz directly and it in fact defaults to 澤野弘之, also my Lidarr instance defaults the artist name to 澤野弘之. Btw this is just an example artist, there’s many more with the same issue.

Possibly something in Plex seems to be messing with the language? Also tried setting language to Japanese everywhere I could, but it changed nothing. Does somebody have any idea what else can be done to fix this?
