Hi all,
Hoping someone can help with this. I have Plex HTPC and Media Player installed on an HTPC (standard PC, Windows 10) connected via HDMI to an AVR.
Just installed and setup Dirac Live on the PC, which appears as a virtual audio device in sound settings. Meaning that audio gets routed to Dirac (chosen as default device), the eq is applied and then Dirac sends the result to the AVR. Hope that makes sense.
Audio is fine from my browser for YouTube and Subsonic (local music streamer). Audio in 5.1 is fine from Netflix in the browser.
However, no audio from Plex. I have swapped between “default device” and “Dirac Virtual Device” in audio settings. I have swapped between “basic” and “HDMI”. I have ticked and unticked the various audio formats (DTS, DD etc). There doesn’t seem to be much else I can try. Tried with both HTPC and Media player versions, neither work. Choosing the direct output to the AVR still works. Tried a range of media (different codecs, different audio 5.1, 2.0 etc) no luck.
While I realise this looks like a Dirac issue, I was hoping somebody might have been down a similar road and found a solution. Whether with Dirac or some other virtual device.
Many thanks in advance for any help you can give!
