I am totally confused right now as DASHBOARD is showing NOTHING as content is playing but I am currently playing smth (4K with HDR-audio 5.1)
What is wrong??? Content is playing on TV-PLEX-app but DASHBOARD is showing nothing on the very top … ![]()

playing for some minutes already without buffering-troubles
Yesterdays content has higher audio-track (not AC3 5.1)
Maybe the much higher multi-channels will cause buffering-troubles?
So maybe streaming content with higher multi-channel while using soundbar which will be responsible for decoding audio might help to stop buffering-troubles???

now you know which settings are responsible for this and can play with it
You need to upload your server logs. Just guessing from your screenshot of (the missing now playing) and CPU usage, the file is being transcoded for some reason.
I won’t be able to help much in analyzing the logs, but I’m sure someone will step up. Try playing a file, let it play for a while (even if it buffers), and then download and attach the logs here.

I am able to play 4K-content, too! Great!
BUT (as always there is an BUT)
While streaming 4K-content from PLEX SERVER, why there is nothing shown within dashboard?

how many servers you have?
do the following
on your PC windows in web browser firefox
yourPlexServerIP:32400/web
choose any 4k file and try to play it
check Activity (Dashboard) in right up corner

Q2) Tried to play 4K on PC but PLEX SERVER is telling: ‘The server do not have enough power to convert content!’
BUT
The strange thing is, that DASHBOARD is showing that content is running on PC? Very strange as no picture is shown at all!

Haha, for sure PC do have enough power (1080TI, 32GB RAM, AMD 1800X, …)! Should be enough
But it is very strange that no message in Dashboard during 4k playing

Very strange (two hours ago I did 100% the same without anything in dashboard and now …)

I really can not tell the root for this! Maybe PLEX SERVER-software is buggy = ?
