I have Plex with Tidal, and up until a few days ago, it was working perfect. But recently, Plex is streaming at only 96kbps when connected to my mobile network (I have Verizon Wireless Go Unlimited plan). About 5% of the time, it plays the HIFI track, but the other times it plays the lowest bitrate version. I have checked my data speeds when it is playing the lower quality version, and will typically get a minimum of 20mbps, so I don’t think it’s the network. I have all my settings set for play maximum or original quality. When I play the same songs in the Tidal app, they always play in HIFI. When connected to Wifi, it almost always plays the HIFI track. This seems to be something where Plex is forcing it to the lower quality track. Does anyone know how to fix this?
