Plex not pulling from TheTVdb?

The issue seems to mainly be with Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. As you can see for episode 76 which aired last night, metadata is incomplete. But tvdb has complete metadata on their site. So what’s the deal? It seems like maybe Plex is pulling from another source? I looked at thetvdb’s metadata for episode 75 and the overview is different than what Plex is pulling for episode summary. Where is Plex pulling this info from? I have agent set to TheTVDB… This makes no sense. Screenshots showing agent info

Your Plex server is not hitting TheTVDB directly. That would kill them.
Plex is proxying TheTVDB info. This info is held for ~24 hours. So in the worst case you will see updated data from TheTVDB with a delay of 24 hours.

Also your server has a local cache. If you edited data freshly, you probably need to clear your local cache for thetvdb agent.

Thanks!! Deleting the cache and refreshing in plex fixed it. :slight_smile:
