Growl has an eventghost plugin for display. Then I send a message to my phone using a Tasker plugin called AutoRemote. That goes into Tasker and processes the data from a movie database provided from the title…

I am still having no luck with any meaningful stats from an import, I wonder is it localisation as I am in the UK?
The import seems to go OK and it reports all 4300 items imported but stats report the last 30 days as 5 movies / 46 shows watched 0 this number should be over 50 plays per day on average!

I used someone else DB and it took a little over 3 minute to refresh 800 rows of data. I think Im going to put a loading bar in.
Yeah I saw this 1 time before in like alpha 10 but I was unable to reproduce it. I'll look into it.

Oh man I broke TV shows even more. I will fix this.
I know you are a busy man & I really do appreciate the effort & speed you are applying the updates, any news on the 'finished time' attribute in the stats screen?
Would just find it really handing when dealing with multiple users vs my ageing quad core processor.
Thanks in advance
Tylor

There should be start and End times on all screens that have a start time for videos now, im not sure what screen you are talking about.
So this may be (user error) but I only ever see an end time when clicking into the Movies tab - then the movie that is currently playing and the start time is incorrect as shows later than the end time (generally 1 minute or so behind the actual time).
I expected to see the end time in the overview tab under the now playing item but upon clicking on this I just see the standard options:
Total Time watched
Runtime
Time Watched
Date Started
Time Started
No finish time?
This is the same if I access the now playing movie from the log of events tab!
Am I doing something wrong?
Ok so The latest version (Alpha 0.42) looks like this:

Log of events displays pause/play/stop/resume events so none of those will have stop times.
So unless I am doing something wrong I am seeing different screens (am running the latest version 0.42 with auto update on)..
Example 01:

Example 2:

Example 3:

In example 3, the start time is set as realtime and is after the end time !

oh the start time is incorrect. I see. Ill fix that sorry.
Ok its fixed. The fix will be in the next update.
Thanks, surely the end time is also wrong, in the example 3 above the end time of the movie was 40 minutes in the past while the movie was still playing at 50+% complete?
I was under the impression the end time would simply make a calculation between the time played vs the total movie length and predict the end time (at that point in time)

The end time is the dateTime the user stopped viewing the Video. They could have had the video paused for 40 minutes.
Hmmm,
I may have confused matters but I was really wanting a proposed end time using the above calculation, as in... based on the point you are currently at in the movie your end time will be "x" based on the time left.
Otherwise it's not actually the end of the movie (time-stamp) but rather a capture of a pause or stop event.
Sorry for the confusion - is this possible?

Oh you want a estimated end time. Yeah I can do that
