I'm looking forward to it :D
So all is on track to release the initial web server stuff, Email and RSS within the next week. The plugin interfaces will also be updated to reflect the new changes.
Fantastic :)
Is there going to be a feature to notify via email when new content is added?

Really looking forward to seeing that. Keep up the great work. Will it be browser agnostic?

Will it be possible to pull any cover images for trailers watched via the apple channel ?
Quick update. The web server (with configurable port, default is 8081) is now fully integrated with RSS working. I have tested PHP and .Net pages and the are also fully working. Now I just have to do the REST API and Email, and plugin updates, then Ill have the update out for you guys.
Can't wait - thanks for the update.
Guessing a few of the users will need to change the default port as I think 8081 is used for SickBeard

SO looking forward to the next chapter!
Not sure what the "standard" ports are, but I use:
- 8081 - SABnzbd
- 8082 - SickBeard
- 8083 - CouchPotato
Just FYI. I assume it will be easy to change from your default though.
Thx!

A friend of mine just encountered a bug when using Plex DLNA. He got endless notifications. He also add the name "DLNA" listed as a user in the users tab.

ah ok I'll look into it
As a temporary workaround he could get rid of all those notifications simply by disabling them. (The entries for "Notify Buffering" and "Notify Buffering Resumes")
I think they were disabled by default on install, and I have left them so.
I haven't tested DLNA access myself, but I guess the DLNA protocol itself may generate transfer pauses interpreted as 'Buffering'.
But this probably depends on the coding of the DLNA client too.

Yeah there will be a Web Server Section in the Configuration screen to edit the web server configurations and enable/disable the web server.
The popup notifications on my Win 7 PC monitor are not showing up at this time. The Statistics page is working as it should but no popups are displayed at the start, 25% intervals or at stop for any video.
EDIT: Notifications are being displayed now. Not sure what happened previously.
Just wanted to say I have been using this software since roughly around when it was released and have been loving it. A few hiccups here and there, but it is totally worth it. I am totally impressed with your current and planned features. By having it send notifications when content is added you basically made push notifications from sabnzbd, sickbeard, couchpotato, etc nearly obsolete. The only thing I really look forward to is increased optimization as it sometimes can be a bit sluggish. I also think it would be awesome if it could send multiple emails when content is added as my wife is consistently texting me asking if a show is added. Even cooler if we could pick which content was sent. For example: send an email to the user only when a new episode of specific TV Series is added. That would be the most amazing thing ever!
Anyway I just wanted to give you my thanks as this is great software. I will probably donate in the near future when I have the cash.
Thanks for your work,
- Curlz
Just thought I would ask if anybody else has seen memory leakage of late (possibly the stat memory hog has crept back in). Plex Notify is currently consuming over 200mb of memory and the application window is not even loaded!
