It uses about 16mb in idle but I think the issue is after looking at the statistic view it's consuming (and holding) onto circa 200mb after the stat view is closed.

I have seen this happen before in some of the earlier revisions of the app so may have crept back in.

Once you close the statistics screen it could take up to 2 minutes for the garbage collection to clear the resources. Does it exceed 2 minutes?

Nope my don't clear the resources after 2 min. or more, .

Still after ½ hour it's around 178K

Ok i'll look into it.

I can also confirm that the 2 minute grace period doesn't clear the additional memory still running at 207mb after 20 minutes

ill make it 8082 then

Most Sab sick and couch users will be using 8080, 8081 and 8082 already :)

That aside I do have a bit of an error I want to report.  The stats of 2 of my users are way off!

User 1 - Last night I got a load of notifications saying the same thing, "XXXXX has reached a progress checkpoint for XXXXXXX on server XXXXXX. (27.51% finished)". When I say a load, I mean my phone was constantly notifying me for about 30 mins (using Pushalot to NMA).  I was out at the time so couldn't restart plex notify so just signed out of NMA.  As you can see from the graph they apparently watched over 100 films on the 22nd Feb and over 100 films last night.  I can safely say they didn't. :)  If it helps it was an Ipad watching last night.

User 2 - I set a friend up last night so they can view my content (all home movies and public domain stuff officier :)).  I tried a film through his browser and although I only got the one notification it shows him as watching 20 movies.  Again, he didn't watch 10 movies as I only put one on to test (it wasn't on for 10 mins either, just a minute like the notification at the bottom says).

Btw fantastic work, I haven't read through the thread but the fact you are asking for a port must mean a web interface is around the corner.  That will just rock my world. :)

If you need access to my DB, my logs etc to try and figure out wtf is going on I'll make them available to you.

Yeah This bug seems to creep up once in a while. I will look into it.

I dunno why, but latest PMS crashes a lot for me.

This causes Plex notify to spam with with disconnection notifications. Any chance that only one of them will be sent until connection is restored?

Yeah I will add it to the next update.

In settings there is an option in minutes how often to be notified of pms connection errors. I thnk the default is 5 or something you can also set this to whatever.

Cool, I’ll do that

Is there a way for pushover not to notify if someone is watching something but to notify when there are buffering issiues or connection errors?

I dont need to know what is being watched via notification just whats going wrong.

Thanks!

at the moment no, But soon notifications enabled will be split out. to Notify Watching and Notify Informational.

The new update is coming. I know I said this week, but the update is huge and there a still a lot of things I have to hammer out. It will be a bit longer.

Most definitely worth waiting for

Just about to try this out, sounds amazing and yet another reason why I'm loving Plex more and more!!

This is great, and definitely simpler to use, nice if rolled into plex

I got a weird error, but I believe that was the .net requirement.

And then installation either stalled a long time, but kept whining about a process and although i thought installer terminated i had to force kill it.

I like the gui/output, its clear, clean, comprehensive. Baked in filtering and much more information than I thought.

I recently came across the status part of the API and was going to try to do something (much more basic) myself. So glad this is here instead.

Being able to access from web/mobile page/app would be cool.

Well done OP, gravitas.
