I would love t implement this but there are a lot of other features that I have to wrap up like email, pushbullet and recently added. this is on my radar but its not high on the priority because its a very nitche thing that only a few users would use.

Look man I appreciate you passion on this matter but as I stated above, there a lot more pressing things that need to get done first. I Cant keep taking time away from these other things to fill small requests. I have a full time job, a wife and a kid. This is only a side project. I have little to no time to work on it some days and I need to work on the features most demanded. once I finish Beta 1 I will add this to the software, for now you will have to deal with the "obnoxious horizontal loading crap" aka the loading bar on the stats screen.

It should be on the downlods page. Just turn off automatic updates. And uninstall your current version.

You are getting this software for free. Demanding anything from someone doing it as a hobby is just plain rude.

I'm not hitting 50% (10% on a dual xeon processor server) but it's pretty much a constant 10%, it was hitting around 3-4% every so often before.

I have a pretty weedy Dual Core CPU from 2007 on my PMS machine.. I have the log checking frequency reduced a bit and Plex Notify never exceeds more than about 5% CPU (usually in little peaks and troughs). But the 71 release is pegging the CPU at a consistent 49 - 51% all the time; not sure why.
JBurlison I've checked the downloads page on the website but for any older versions it just directs me to the one-click latest version. Yup I think I'll disable auto updates for now!

There is a .net bug that keeps the images in memory and the are not being garbage collected. I have a work around in the process to make the stats screen a separate process.

I must be being a noob but can't seem to get this working, the port in settings suggests 8082 but after entering this in the url along with my manual I.P (or my redirect account) I get nothing! ports have been forwaded in router config...

The only thing you should have to change is the port number not the IP address in that setting. The IP is only to specify a IP address to listen on if you have multiple IP's on your machine.
So it should be something like 8082:localhost I believe.
J, I just wanted to thank you for the effort your putting into this and to tell you not to listen to the jackasses. For every one of them there are twenty of us who appreciate your hard work.

James, wanted to thank you for all of the hard work. I just installed .71 onto my server and it is actually working! I am collecting data. Now, is getting the data I have been collecting all of these weeks that's sitting on my laptop transferable to the server so I don't lose anything? Is it as simple as shutting down both instances and copying the PlexNotify.sdf file from one machine to the other? I know that there should be some other things that need to be copied, logs, image_cache, etc. Do you have a list of everything I should copy?
To refresh I am running 2012R2 Essentials. I had last tried .61 which is what I am still running on the laptop.

Just move your config and sdf file and you should be all set. It will rebuild the cache or you can transfer that too
