I had a question for you guys...It's a little hard to try to find an answer when there is 94 pages of this stuff so I apologize if this was covered. I tried to search but I couldn't find anything on this...is there a way to disable the "Connected Clients" section ?? Reason I ask is because this has never shown anything for me, I've had up to 8 concurrent connections on the server and never once has this section ever shown me any "Connected Clients" with that said I'd rather use this space for the notifications.
Sweet, something that I used quite alot in PW. Down the road, do you think that it would be possible to add a notification when the same user started playback from two different IP's?
Would come in handy busting those users that are loaning friends and family members their accounts, amazing how friends can disregard basic guidelines.

This is really the missing feature. Unless I missed something, has anyone been able to get this working?
Asking for ETA is bad form it will be ready when it's ready
Get a grip!
I am do nothing wrong but simply asking the developer (in his own time when he is ready) if there's a progress update. This has been done many times before (provided by the developer).
Really... some people just want to start arguments.

What's wrong with waiting like everybody else?
He has stated before no eta!!
I'm guessing that means you too...

No it's not! We have often asked Orca for an update over at the Samsung client forum and he can either state one or say he can't at the moment. I think this poster got out the wrong side of bed this morning!
can anyone help me with the web section in the settings?
whenever I enable the server, I get the attached error
I can't see the error but I believe the web client has a known bug. Personally I think a separate web client is unnecessary and it would be better to integrate Plex Notify into the Activity section of Plex Web.
Hey guys it has been a while so I figured I would fill everyone in on what’s the status is on Plex Notify. So I had gotten a proposal to make Plex notify a website. There will me more than just me working on it. This site would keep your server stats for you without any installation to your server. This will make Plex Notify more universal.
There will be an optional windows service that you can install to get additional information gathered from the server.
The desktop app is scrapped. A lot of the code in the service is being put server side. We will use your existing Plex TV logins to login to the website.
I believe this is the best direction for Plex Notify. There might also be a name change to the product.
There will be some subscription based features. For those who have already donated to the project I will ask you at some point in the future for your Plex TV name to get free premium service for a year as a way to say thank you for supporting the project. The price for the premium service has not been established but it will be in the $3-$6/month range. I have to see what the servers will cost.
Jburlison, I appreciate and thank you for all the work you have and will do for plexnotify and the community!
I'd personally, rather not host all my details of who's watching what on a server that I do not control. I like having the local install and of the current (older) Plex Notify and will probably just keep that as it does the basics of what I need for now. Once again, thank you for all your work and hopefully the local installed version is not completely scraped..
Just to chime in, I would be a bit cautious about what are essentially portions of my Plex logs being kept on a third party server.
You might remember a year or two back that the old plexapp.com website used to keep a few thumbnails of user's media collections when you were viewing the server pages; eventually this was removed because users didn't want even minor records of their media collection being kept at a remote location. I'm aware that Plex is primarily concerned with sharing your media but such detailed data being kept online is not ideal. I'm not sure how this proposed online notification service will work but I'm really not comfortable providing my own Plex logon details to a third party website. It was quite a while before I was even willing to trust my plex logon to the original Plex Notify app (I had to see if the dev could be 100% trusted! I tend to err on the side of caution.)
If the web service can work in tandem with some sort of local and independent installation then it might be ok. Maybe the web service provides more detail and stats for those who have libraries shared with them. But I strongly believe that Plex logon details should not be shared around and certainly not handled by a third party. Just my two cents.
I notice that plexnotify.com, plexnotify.codeplex.com, The Plex Notify Twitter page and Facebook page are all gone. And I just sent a donation a couple days ago.
