Would it be at all likely that plex would be developed for the humax hdr fox t2? That would be a killer combination!
Unless the Humax has an open development environment for applications then it’s very unlikely.
Also Humax are not exactly the most forward thinking company when it comes to network media, they just barely support DLNA media playback. Plex would be a killer feature but groups like Humax are too focused on selling TV tuner set top boxes and miss the bigger picture.
I really dont know much about the technical side of things but there is a custom firmware you can get for the humax box. Is this not comparable to jailbreaking an apple tv meaning running plex is feasible?
