Plex on Sonos Play:1 skips tracks and stops playing

I have a Sonos Play:1 with Plex hooked up wirelessly on the local network. Music is streamed from a Synology 416play NAS running Plex Server. There are two problems while playing:

  1. It will sometimes move onto the next track when half way through a song.
  2. It simply stops playing music without finishing the playlist. The playlist is on random and we rarely reach the 4 hours of music. It does normally finish playing a song before turning off.

(Note that iHeartRadio works nearly flawlessly so the network itself appears fine.)

Any ideas?
