Plex on Sony BDP-S580 possible?

Is is possible to put Plex on a Sony BDP-S580 blu ray player?

I have a samsung player I just installed plex on and it works awesome, however samsung does not do Amazon Prime VOD and Sony does. I looked at GTV2 and took the sony player back already because it is son not ready for prime time imho! Would just like sony player to have app like the samsung app.
