Plex on VPN

I’m running the Plex server on a VPN. If I connect the a UK server I can access iPlayer and other services on the server but not on a client.

A quick search comes up with running both client and server on the VPN but I don’t want to do this is there an alternative?

Can I stream Plex channels on a client through the server?

If you force everything to be transcoded, then yes, I believe that will work.
