Hi im new ish to plex and was wondering, the lifetime plex pass does that go onto my account so if I change hardware and have to reinstall plex media server will I still keep plex pass?

A Plex Pass is tied to your account, not to a server.
You can run multiple servers. All will have Plex Pass features enabled.
