After receiving emails and reading FAQ’s selling the Lifetime plex pass at $249.99 I went to purchase it today prior to July 1st 2026 price rise only to find that in the UK account the price is actually higher for the same product at £299.99 which is the equivalent of nearly $400.00 ?? Why the 2 tier pricing? This is not right or fair.
Did you look in an app store? These have sometimes very steep surcharges.
Always try and buy directly from the plex.tv website.
It looks like I was seeing the price according to an AppStore who mark up the prices? But I could swear I checked the web site and the app and both were telling me the same. Cookies by location? Or something else? Who knows. Plex very quickly. Got back to me with a link to the correct price so well done Plex. It makes me feel like the lifetime pass was the correct thing to do.
