Plex Pass - what does it really add?

I’ve used Plex for a few years now and have enjoyed it. I wanted to support the project financially so before the price went up I purchased a Plex Pass without really checking into what it does. So far I see not difference in any way. We was 90% on the TV using Roku. I watch 10% of the time on my Linux Kubuntu desktop. I didn’t receive anything other than a Welcome to Plex Pass email.

Am I supposed to do something to get value from this purchase?

I use it mostly for auto skip intros/credits, hardware transcoding, ocassional DVR of OTA live TV.
