...and OSX 10.10 Public Beta 4 and 5 :D
GM candidate 2 is the beta 5. He also posts on his blog and here everytime a new update has occurred be it aTV iOS or OSX related:
https://forums.plex.tv/topic/123139-plex-plexcoonect-and-openplex-working-on-yosemite-gm-candidate/
See history of Yosemite betas is as follows:
The first words are the official Apple names of Yosemite versions, so we have 8 official betas and 2 GM candidates yet, meaning 10 betas altogether.

The “public beta 5” I was referring to:
http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/07/os-x-yosemite-golden-master-2-0-and-public-beta-5-released/
Strange how they name these, when you look in software update it’s labeled as beta 5 even though it’s actually beta 10 as you said. Looks like a beta 11 is out for dev’s also:

…The difference in beta Numbers comes from Beta Public Releases (here it is correctly beta 5) and the dev beta versions I’m referring (there it is 'beta 11’ = GM candidate 3).

Maybe it's better to tell us only when it stops working? Otherwise it looks like spamming us with your blog.
@stigger: I thought that a bunch of people wants to know this (a lot of people are asking for this in many threads in this forum). If this is not the case and the majority here does not want me posting (like you), I don't mind to stop posting this kind of information on Plex forum....
So long, and thanks for all the fish... B)

keep it up.. we still want to know before we update our ATVs :)
maybe have it all in the same thread though?
@stoffez: Thanks for your feedback and your input! :)
I'll keep on posting. I'll post any news about Apple TV (beta) software updates and Mac OS X (beta) software updates in regard to Plex, PlexConnect and Openplex in one single, new post. I'll update the post every time if there is a new software release.
Do you all agree?
Sure... we can even merge the older posts together. :-)
Wouldn’t a fresh and clean start better? I would start with Apple TV 7.0 and Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
OP updated by Apple TV software and Mac OS X 10.10 update versions.
Today Apple released:
It seems to be nearly the same build number as GM candidate 3 (14A388a) meaning Plex, PlexConnect and OpenPlex are working.
OP updated.
Yep. OP updated.
That's great. And now that Yosemite is out of beta, has anyone upgraded and validated that PlexConnect still works correctly?

OSX 10.10 + ATV3 7.0, working flawlessly through WSJ hijack. Plexconnect starting up directly after OSX upgrade, ATV connecting directly after upgrade, certificate still active.
