Plex PPA has a wrong PGP key

Hello,

when I’m trying to add the plex repository to my list i get the message, that the PGP key is wrong for that repository.

I get the error message after running

$ sudo apt-get update

Due to security reasons Ubuntu blocks the repository and doesn’t allow me to install plex via the repository.

Ran into this yesterday.

What geographic region / continent are you?

Yesterday, Eastern & Central EU was corrected and now is working correctly.

I’m in EU/Germany

I am currently reinstalling my OS. I can give you an answer tomorrow if everything worked :slight_smile:

You can also remove the existing key and re-install.

Reports came in from Denmark and Ukraine all was again operational.

I think that covers Germany too: :wink:

I have not received a reply from the operations team yet.
You can download and install manually if it’s urgent to update now.

UPDATE: They have sent another fresh file to the EU server. It should work now.
They are also attempting to determine what’s happening.

The resident keys are fine.

I will let them know there is still a problem with the cloud server.
I cannot replicate it here because I’m on a different server.
