Plex Premium Music library : Metadata only available in english

Plex Premium Music library has an important limitation that is not present on basic music libraries : the metadata fetched by Premium Music Library for Artist, Albums… is in english only while it is available in many other languages in basic music libraries.

It’s a bit disappointing being a Plex Pass customer and having the “Premium” service worse off than the free version.

Can we hope an evolution on this topic soon ?

Plex did away with the “Basic” and “Premium” library types a few months ago. If you still have basic and premium libraries, you might want to follow the link in that post that shows you how to upgrade your libraries to the new scanner.

I can’t speak to how the new scanner handles languages.

Ok thanks for clarification about Basic/Premium but anyway, it is still english only…
