Library Metadata Multiple Language Support

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409 (Windows, Synology DSM 7)
Player Version#: 4.69.1 (Not sure if this is the version you’re asking)

Hey all, I’ve been using Plex for a while now but I have some questions regarding the library metadata including a language issue.
Here goes:

  1. Is there a way to retain (or specify) the contents’ respective metadata language?
I am using Plex Media Server with the UI lang set to English, but would like my library contents to have metadata in its original language.
For example, a Korean movie would have all its metadata in Korean but English contents in English.
If there is a functionality where I could specify the metadata language of certain contents (e.g. Japanese, since I don’t speak and can’t read the characters very well) that would be the best.

  2. Is there a functionality where I can pool all the media across multiple devices into a single library?
Since I have Plex Media Server installed in a Windows machine and a Synology NAS, the contents are currently separated into two different libraries (one for the NAS and the other for my local PC). I want to access all my media from a single “logical” library regardless of its storage device. Is this possible?

Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Plex generally goes with the metadata language configured for the library ( > Manage Library > Edit...General > Language).

However you can configure your library (or individual items) to show the original title instead of a translated version ( > Manage Library > Edit...Advanced > Use original titles or :pencil2: > Advanced > Use original titles). While that’ll only apply to the actual title you can also override the metadata language of an item altogether (:pencil2: > Advanced > Metadata language).

As for your 2nd question:
You can point a library to multiple top-level library folders ( > Manage Library > Edit...Add Folder); example:

P:\Movies\
Q:\Movies\
R:\Videos\Hollywood Movies\
R:\Videos\Bollywood Movies\
...
