The header says it all:  How do I delete files in the plex for PS4 app after viewing?

Hi,

Nothing will be stored on the PS4 Plex app. Its only a stream.

The files are stored in the PLex Media Server on your PC. There do you have to delete them.


But a better solution is, to mark the viewed files as “watched” and sort then by “unwatched” in the PS4.app

I guess the OP is asking how to delete media, if you have the option "Allow clients to delete media" enabled on the server.

This option seems to me missing from the latest 'clients' Plex has released (Nexus Player, Xbox One, etc)

 Yes, sorry if I did cause some misunderstandings. I want to delete the media - totally right.

I enabled "Allow clients to delete media" in the server settings.
The Web Client can delete files via the thee points (more...) options, but i cannot find these in the plex for PS4 client. Maybe future versions could put this option under the option button on the PS4 controller.
