Plex Queue sync across devices

Is there a way for Plex to sync the plex queue across devices?
If I am listening to a playlist on device A, it creates a queue on that device. At some point I may be in this situation
Item 1 - completed
Item 2 - completed
Item 3 - at 2:48 timestamp
Item 4 - not played
Item 5 - not played

If I come back to device A and continue playing it will pick up on item 3 at the proper timestamp and continue on

If I go to device B, I noticed that it knows I was playing item 3. Two problems:

  1. It only has concept of the particular item 3 and not of the queue. At the end of item 3 it will simply stop
  2. Most times the timestamp is behind
  3. A few times it simply doesnt know I am on item 3 and should something completely different

Any ideas? Thanks

Unfortunately not.
“Transferable play queues” are not a thing in Plex at this time.

Some use cases for transferable play queues can be worked around by using smart playlists.
This one for instance: Watch crossover episodes of several series in-order

Ok, thanks. Only problem I have with that is having to reorganize folder/filename (and losing original organization)
Has somebody used symlinks to do this?
This is for example, to create symlink “copies” of your files and dump them on a single directory (if you dont care of multiple seasons). And then add those as tv series while keeping original files the way they are
It is still laborious but at least you dont lose original organization

Filebot can create Symlinks/hardlinks instead of moving/renaming the files.

Amazing, I will try it out. Thanks!

Thanks, I checked the app.
It seem to be magical if you are matching a known show.
What I am struggling is to use the app without relying to match to an aired show but to do a semi manual process. To dump of directory /subdirectory and then allow me to drag/drop (groups of videos) to rearrange order manually. And then create a parallel structure of symlinks/hardlinks (still not sure which is best).
Anyway in case anybody has suggestions. Thanks!

Not sure what you have in mind exactly, but I recommend you to watch this:
