Well – that shoots down that one.
On my one system, / is 64 MB (not even GB). Needless to say it blows up very quickly.
I find it interesting this machine’s inotify values are much higher.
Another change I tried – Turn off ALL the scheduled tasks except backups
I have debug logs now of it occurring, how should I send them?
Would it be helpful to enable verbose logging? What else can I do to help troubleshoot this?
no. Verbose is too much. It logs every single packet.
The logs only capture about 2 minutes of elapsed time.
I cabled my NAS directly to my ProxMox host through a separate cable and added a 2nd interface to my VM just for NFS access bypassing all my Ubiquiti network gear, so far the issue has not re-emerged after 2 days.
Just an update, so far no issues with playing media now that there is no network or L3 path between the Plex server and the NAS. It appears to be a network related issue at this time, not sure though if its Ubiquiti related or general traffic session related issues that a stateful firewall is having trouble with.
