Is this working as designed, or did I do something wrong? Everything else is working great. It seems odd to me a movie could be requested that already exists.
Working fine here, if a television show or movie is requested that already exists it states Already downloaded in plex requests.
I just tried it again, and it’s working for me as well. I’m just glad it’s working.
Even though the user is told the movie already exists, the request is still added to the request queue. I suppose that’s working as designed.

Yep that happens to my install too, i’m guessing just to give you a log of what requests have been made.
It also becomes available at that point for the user to mark any problems the file has.
One feature which i think would be an excellent functionality add would be the ability to set a notifications option to auto email a requesting user (via their plex email) when the requested movie is added to the select platform (CP, Sonarr, or maybe better Plex itslef). Using my users/requesters as a proxy, i get texts and emails all the time about whether their content is available. Yes they could easily check but seems humans are lazy. Anyway, adding some more functionality to help with this automation would we welcomed.
