Plex samsung app Doesn’t go to latest unwatched episode

Player Version#: apperantly I got given the early access update by default yesterday. Don’t know the number

So I got an update for my Tizen app which apparently gave me early access. I have a anime serie on deck, one piece S21E46, when I click it, it goes to S21e01 and I have to scroll all the way to the right to episode 46. Old app just went to 46 right away (as it should) this does not happen with a show that I have on deck at episode 11, it goes to episode 11 right away.

This is rather annoying because I also have shows with s01e137 episodes. I am not going to scroll all the way to the right every week there is a new episode.

We have an internal issue logged already to look into this. It’s caused by the large number of episodes in a season. We should have a fix out soon-ish

Thank you for your quick reply. In the current samsung tizen app (not early access) I have the issue on 1 show (black clover) which had 1 season and 137 episodes

Is there any new information on this update? I run an adblock on our Tizen TVs to reduce the obtrusive ads, but it also prevents app updates, so I’ve got to manually disable it when needed. The issue is still present in client 5.1.0.

I doubt it, it’s been an issue for over a year. Started happening on my One Piece show now aswell, since episode 53. (in the old client)

We were waiting on changes in PMS so that we could fix this bug. I’ve upped the priority now that PMS has the required changes.

It seemed to work in version 5.9.1. But I just received version 5.10.0 where it is bugged again.
In 5.9.1 it did went to the latest episode, lets say episode 178. but after 178 it would always show episode 11. Now in 5.10.0 when I click on episode 178 it will go to episode 31 somehow. When I go to a different show episode 154 it will also go to episode 31 of that show. If I click it again it does go to episode 154.

Very odd.

This fix requires PMS version 1.21.4.4054 to work properly.

If you haven’t already, try restarting the Plex app.
