Plex sees external harddrive but detects no folders inside

Hi all.

I run my Plex server on a MacBook Pro 2018 model with latest OS update. I have 3 external harddrives mounted as ExFat.
The MacBook recognises the harddrives and I am able to play my movies via VLC directly on my Mac. However, Plex is not able to see any folders on my external harddrives. Plex recognises my 3 drives, but it detects no folders inside.

How is this possible. I’ve tried everything. Tried to create a new folder on the drive and put some files in that, still no folders to be detected on Plex.

The folders inside was detected once, now all my media says unavailable.
This happened after i connected two of my harddrives through the third harddrive. In that way I didn’t have to use my USB hub. instead I only connect one harddrive via USB, and the other two is connected via the third drive.

If you’re using macOS 10.15 Catalina you should have been prompted to allow Plex Media Server access to removable volumes:

Have you granted PMS this permission?
