Plex sees files - won't play them - CentOS 7

So I have Plex installed on my CentOS 7 server. All of my media is on a drive I have mounted to /mnt, and the plex user is the owner recursively of the Media folder, and all its contents. I have a custom group for that folder that the plex user is a member of:

drwxr-xr-x. 6 plex smb-access-media 4096 Apr 21 07:35 Media

Lets say I want to watch Fight Club. It’s permissions are:

-rwxrwx—. 1 plex smb-access-media 539944960 Mar 31 16:25 Fight Club.avi

OK everything seems ok to me permission wise… but I cannot play anything through Plex. Plex seems to know the file exists as it’s indexed all of my media.

The error i get is rather general - Playback error: “Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.”

Did I miss something during the install?

Please read the following document. Did you change the mount point at some time, i.e. did you index your media at another mount point before? Please review the “expected full filepath” of your unavailable media.

AH yeah! I did add a folder. It seems to be working now that I added the folder to the path. Boy do I feel stupid! Thanks :grinning:
