Problem solved.
How? My container keeps crashing so curious what you did.
I was trying to run the plex database off an nfs share, and apparently sqlite and nfs do not mix well. I switched over to having my database local, and everything else on the nfs like so
volumes:
- /docker/volumes/plex.domain.com/config:/config #nfs mount
- /etc/plex/local:/config/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support #local
- /mnt/Media:/mnt/Media #nfs mount
Then you can create a database backup script and add it to cron to keep your database backed up.
if ls /docker/volumes/plex.domain.com/db_backup/ | grep $(date +%F) #check folder for item with date
then
echo "Backup exists"
else
mkdir -p /docker/volumes/plex.domain.com/db_backup/$(date +%F)
docker stop plex
rsync -au /etc/plex/local/* /docker/volumes/plex.domain.com/db_backup/$(date +%F)
docker start plex
