Plex Media Server Logs_2024-08-13_19-42-00.zip (4.5 MB)

Hi ,guys.Every time I delete one of the plex’s media libraries, like all of my movies, the plex server and app are unable to access and the server website showing the message:【The server “TV-Z” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again.】Then I have to stop the server and restart it again, and it worked.Or when I delete one of the plex’s media libraries and click optimize database/clean bundles, the same thing happen. All I have to do is restart the server and it’s annoying. The same problem has been going on for over three years now, and every time a new version comes out it is immediately updated, with no result in fixing the problem.I’m using the package version from synology DSM 6.2.4. The logs files are included and please fix this ,thanks in advance.

You have a few things to do.

  1. More media being monitored than DSM defaults allow. (monitor / notify table full )

Let’s fix this first, restart , then reevaluate

This entire thread  is a whole bunch of tips (both Dsm 6 and 7)

Thanks!Hope this will work.Another related question:my final result(integer part only)is 1.7 → 2, includes a netdisk mounting,Can I expand this value ahead of time, say by turning 2 into 3 or 5 or more?for example 3,Then become 3+1=4,4 *32768 =131072.
So I paste in the contents but use my values like this below?

# Remove any previous s2s_watches_max entries (avoid clutter)
sed -i 's/^s2s_watches_max=.*$//' /etc/synoinfo.conf
sed -i 's/^s2s_watches_max=.*$//' /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf

# This is an example only. Use your actual result below to add the new value
echo 's2s_watches_max=131072' >> /etc/synoinfo.conf
echo 's2s_watches_max=131072' >> /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf

Do I need to paste these in together? Or can I delete these below first?

# Remove any previous s2s_watches_max entries (avoid clutter)
# This is an example only. Use your actual result below to add the new value

So the real values I need to paste in task command is:

sed -i 's/^s2s_watches_max=.*$//' /etc/synoinfo.conf
sed -i 's/^s2s_watches_max=.*$//' /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf
echo 's2s_watches_max=131072' >> /etc/synoinfo.conf
echo 's2s_watches_max=131072' >> /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf

Is that right?I’m a little cofused by the number I can expand and the content I need to paste .
Thanks in advance.

Those are the essential commands you run (put in the task which runs as user ‘root’ and emails you the result)

Lines 1 & 2 remove any previous value set
Lines 3 & 4 add the new value
